What is the ruling on a woman wearing perfume in her home, where the scent remains on her until she leaves the house without removing it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Abu Layla : Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings and His forgiveness.
Abu Layla : How are you, my Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, I am well.
Abu Layla : May Allah bless you.

The Shaykh : May Allah preserve you.
Abu Layla : Our Shaykh, your brother Abu Ma’har is with you, our Shaykh. He says: A woman or a mature girl wore perfume in her home, then she was compelled to go out without removing that perfume. She knows the legal ruling, but she was lazy, fearing that men would smell her. Does she fall under the scope of the Prophetic hadith: she is a fornicatress?

The Shaykh : We hope that if she is truthful in what is reported about her, she does not fall under that.

The questioner : We hope for that from Allah.

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly.

The questioner : May Allah bless you, and we entrust you to Allah.

The Shaykh : May Allah preserve you, O Abu Ma’har.

The questioner : May Allah honor you, O my Shaykh, O my teacher.

The Shaykh : Your prayers.

The questioner : May Allah keep us and you steadfast.
