The ruling on a woman using perfume in the homes of her relatives and neighbors

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner, O Noble Shaykh, says: If I go to school, or to relatives, or to neighbors, I bring perfume with me and apply it there in their house. Is there anything wrong with that?

Answer:
If no scent reaches the streets, there is nothing wrong with it, provided it is only in the house. However, if you fear that it will lead to fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) in the streets, then do not do it. Do not go out with a fragrance that men in the streets can smell. But if it is light and cannot be smelled in the streets, there is no blame on you.
