The questioner : Meaning, the one who enters knows, for example, that there will be no result or such, but rather he will be killed?

The Shaykh : We always say that this intifada currently taking place in Palestine is not a legitimate intifada, but rather it is only an emotional intifada. As for Islam, it commands Muslims first to fear Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) in themselves, their families, and their relatives. Second, it commands them to prepare to be freed from the yoke of colonialism and the Jewish occupation of them. As for engaging in means that do not benefit them in any way, and do not wound their enemy, but on the contrary, the enemy wounds them, this is in reality, first, a case of throwing oneself into destruction, and second, it is contrary to the methodology of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his noble Companions. Every Muslim group that falls under such a fierce attack must direct its resistance in the direction of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and his noble Companions. We know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he called to Islam, began his call first with the call to tawhid (the oneness of Allah) in secret, then he began to proclaim it gradually. Some of the Companions believed in him, as is known in the early history of Islam. These first Companions suffered what they suffered of severity, pressure, beating, and severe torture, which every Muslim suffers with his enemy. Nevertheless, their position was not to rush to confront the disbelievers without preparing for this confrontation with the necessary equipment. We believe that the Muslim's equipment and preparation should include two things: The first thing is faith in Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with correct and strong faith. The second thing is to adopt the material means that enable him first to reduce the calamities and damages in the Muslim community. The first of these is migration (hijrah), and the second is the known material weapons of every time. If we know this reality, and its summary is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not legislate fighting the disbelievers and confronting force with force and weapon with weapon, except after he had truly gathered the group of believers, and they sold their souls cheaply in the path of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Then, after that, when the appropriate times became easy for him, when he migrated from Makkah to al-Madinah, he began to use force and material weapons, after he had prepared the spiritual and moral weapon in the Muslims. This is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and it is the Sunnah of Allah in His creation , . And as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to preach in his sermons, especially in the Friday sermon, he would say: Therefore, it is obligatory for Muslims in every time and place to keep the guidance of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) before their eyes, and to imitate and follow him (peace and blessings be upon him). Since the current intifada has not prepared the souls with correct Islamic upbringing first, and has not prepared for material weapons second, therefore we have said and still say: It is not permissible for Muslims to allow their blood to be spilled cheaply, which weakens them and strengthens their enemies. Rather, they must save it for a day when they are prepared to offer these bloods cheaply as mujahideen in the path of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with their souls, their wealth, and everything they love. And we believe that the entire Islamic world, with great regret, and not only the Palestinians, has not reached the stage of true jihad in the path of Allah; because they have not been raised with the correct Islamic upbringing, nor have they prepared from the material weapon aspect. If we know this reality which we repeat and sing about from the first day of the intifada, you will know, a fortiori, the answer to the question you raised just now, which is that it is not permissible for individual Muslims to expose themselves to attacking the Jewish enemies; because the outcome will be in favor of the Jews, and not in favor of the attacking Muslims.
