What is the ruling on the Palestinian Intifada and throwing stones at the Jews?

The questioner : Naturally, we are asking you about the Palestinian Intifada, which has now been going on for more than a year and a half, and we are throwing stones at the Jews, and perhaps the stones reach their heads or perhaps they do not; so what is your opinion on striking the Jews with stones, or on the continuation of the Intifada in this form? May Allah reward you with good.
The Shaykh : We have seen the matter since the Intifada began, and the newspapers from every direction have been glorifying it, and it is worthy of glorification in terms of courage and heroism, but the matter is as it was said:
Sa'd mentioned it, and Sa'd was wrapped in his cloak, *** "This is not, O Sa'd, how camels are driven." So when we look first at the texts of the Shari'ah and secondly at the Prophetic biography, we find that the matter required preparation of two types: one is psychological preparation, or as you might say, educational preparation, and the other is material preparation. We all know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained in Makkah, suffering severe torment from the aggression of the disbelievers of Quraysh against him and his companions, until it was the wisdom of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) that He permitted those who wished among them to emigrate, even to Abyssinia. Then Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) permitted His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to emigrate from Makkah to al-Madinah, and those who were able followed him, while the weak among the believers remained there, still facing the harshest torment, and history is known to everyone. The point is that hope is everywhere now, and what the Muslims are afflicted with, or what they are demanding, is that they should not rush matters, and they should prepare to fight the disbelievers and expel them from the lands of Islam to the lands of tyranny and disbelief in all the countries from which they emigrated to the lands of Islam. Therefore, Allah the Exalted said in the Qur'an:[Al-Anfal 8:60] And in my belief, there is no doubt that this Intifada, just as in the previous matter, but now more clearly, there was no preparation whatsoever to fight these disbelievers who occupied the lands, neither in terms of psychological/educational preparation nor in terms of material/weapons preparation. The second matter is very clear, and this is expressed in the image of your question: that meeting bullets of various shapes and types with throwing stones is, as the common saying goes in Syria and perhaps in other lands, "an eye does not meet a needle." Therefore, I see that there is no result from this Intifada, and reality, unfortunately, testifies that it will become two full years for them, and in military terms, "stay in your place." Especially since the Arab states and governments are prepared to a decent extent in terms of material and weapons, but as for the first and most important preparation, there is absolutely nothing of it, and yet they do not provide our brothers there with any kind of weapons at all. Therefore, unless Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) grants these Muslims in these lands a miraculous intervention that overcomes their enemies, their moral and material weakness does not qualify them for victory; because Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has stamped victory with His saying: [Muhammad 47:7] . Others, do not let the questions be scattered, so that we may have good, if Allah wills.
The questioner : Naturally, regarding the Intifada, it arose as a result of certain known pressures that we felt, and now it is directed by planning from three directions: the Islamic Resistance Movement represented by Hamas, or the Muslim Brotherhood, or the Islamic Jihad, or what is the unified leadership belonging to the organizations there. As for us, we cannot stop it now; because if we stopped it, the economic pressures on us would increase. Currently, while it is continuing, our economy has completely collapsed, especially after the fall of the dinar.
The Shaykh : Especially after the fall of what?
The questioner : After the fall of the dinar; because the people there deal in dinars, and the Jews intended by this to humiliate us, and they themselves want us to stop the Intifada in any way, because it has exhausted them. A soldier meets a stone with a rifle or a bullet, so he is mentally exhausted because he is equipped to lead or face an army, but he faces a stone. Perhaps the psychological morale of the Jews is very tired. So what is your opinion, Your Eminence, on stopping it, or ...?
The Shaykh : By Allah, regarding stopping it, the matter is as you say, and here I cannot give an answer, but I say the traditional answer: "The people of Makkah know its valleys best," and "The owner of the house knows best what is in it." But the principle was that one should have been patient and prepared spiritually, physically, and with weapons all at once. Others.
