What are the limits of the callers to Allah in obedience and compliance?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The second question: What are the limits of obedience and compliance in the group of da'wah (calling to Islam)?

The Shaykh : There are no limits, because the obedience that is obligatory is only for two people in this world after the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him): the first is the Caliph, and the second is the husband. If the Caliph orders something that is originally permissible in the Shari'ah, it becomes obligatory. Likewise, if the husband orders his wife to do something that is originally permissible, she must carry it out. As for anyone other than these two, there is no obligatory obedience. The matter then returns to the thing ordered: if he sees that doing it is good, he does it; if he does not do it, there is no sin on him.
