What is the ruling on those who separate the Shari'ah from the creed, considering the Shari'ah as a system and the creed as faith, such that the Shari'ah changes in their view while the creed does not change?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on one who separates the Shari'ah from the creed, viewing the Shari'ah as a system and the creed as faith in Allah, the Creator and Provider?

The Shaykh : Yes, excuse me, I want to understand what he means by this separation?

The questioner : He says that legislation is entrusted to the sons of Adam, so they organize it according to their circumstances and their livelihood, but the creed does not change. We believe in Allah as Creator and Provider, but the Shari'ah is a matter of jurisprudence and legislation?

The Shaykh : Do you mean that the Shari'ah changes?

The questioner : Yes, is that what they intend?

The Shaykh : Of course, this is not permissible; this is disbelief, because Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers. ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الكافرون
[Al-Ma'idah 5:44]
, He said: whoever does not judge. He did not say whoever does not believe. In any case, regarding this division, we say that it is a convention of creed and Shari'ah, just as if we said transactions and morals; there is no harm in this division, but on the condition that we make all of this the religion of Islam as it came in the religion of Islam. It is obligatory to adopt it, whether it is creed, or Shari'ah and judgment, or behavior, or transaction; all of this is Islam. And our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) says:
And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers. ومن يبتغ غير الإسلام دينا فلن يقبل منه وهو في الآخرة من الخاسرين
[Ali 'Imran 3:85]
If the intention behind this separation is to realize the Christian phrase "religion for Allah and the country for everyone," then it is sufficient to say that this is clear misguidance.
