Al-Hawini: How to reconcile the hadith of 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that Ahmad narrated, in which she applied perfume to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he stoned the Jamarat al-'Aqabah, with what al-Bukhari narrated from her, that she applied perfume to him during the Tawaf al-Ifadah?
The Shaykh : No one would imagine that applying perfume is limited to a specific place. So she applied perfume to him at this time, and she applied perfume to him at that time. What removes the difficulty in this matter is what came in some authentic hadiths, his saying (peace be upon him) So, it is permissible for him to apply perfume after he exits the state of ihram by stoning. Consequently, if he is about to perform the Tawaf al-Ifadah, it is also permissible for him to apply perfume. There is no contradiction in 'Aishah applying perfume to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) more than once after the minor exit from ihram, which occurs by stoning the large Jamarat.

When you stone the large Jamarat, everything becomes permissible for him except women
إذا رميتم الجمرة الكبرى فقد حل له كل شيء الا النساء
