The questioner : Among the matters that are obligatory for the members of the group is the study of certain books, such as the book Chapters on the Shari'ah of Politics in the Call to Allah by Shaykh Abd al-Rahman Abd al-Khaliq, and the book The Muslims and Political Work, and finally the book Rulings on Image-Making in the Islamic Shari'ah. It is known that in some of these books, from page 183 of the book Chapters on the Shari'ah of Politics in the Call to Allah, he addressedThe Shaykh : Abd al-Rahman addressed the issue of denying the texts for the sake of Shari'ah interests. Many of the Salafi youth in Sudan have been captivated by this book and other books, until some of them, when we say thatThe Shaykh : Al-Albani (may Allah preserve him) said such and such, some become bold toward the scholars of hadith, saying, "This is a scholar of hadith who has confined himself within walls, studying, authenticating, and refining, and so on. But this man studies the lived reality and knows the requirements of the age. Therefore, he provides what Sudan needs, to the extent that he wrote this book specifically for Sudan." And from here the confusion began in the year 1984.

The Shaykh : We seek help from Allah. This is a very disturbing matter. And this confirms what I said earlier, that those who lead the Muslim youth today are themselves young people who have not matured in this knowledge. It is true that Al-Albani authenticates and weakens, and so on, but he does not live on Mars. He knows the conditions surrounding the Muslims. However, he adheres to the Shari'ah rulings and does not see a way for a Muslim to say that the end justifies the means. If Abd al-Rahman himself were asked, and he was my student at the Islamic University, if he were asked, or if I were given the opportunity to meet him and ask, "Do you say that the end justifies the means?" he would say: No; because this is a disbeliever's principle. But if we draw his attention to the fact that he proceeds from it, and that his life, his permissibility of some forbidden things, and his image-making of permissibility for some of the forbidden, this is a representation of this principle that a Muslim cannot acknowledge, but rather he must deny it. But what is the benefit of saying one thing and doing another? Therefore, we ask for guidance and success for our brother and for those who have been involved with him in violating the Shari'ah in some rulings. We ask for guidance and success for us and for him to truly follow the way of the Book and the Sunnah, and upon the methodology of the righteous predecessors. And I return to say that these deviations from some of the rulings and the Shari'ah contradict the way of the Muslims throughout these many centuries,
And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination. ومن يشاقق الرسول من بعد ما تبين له الهدى ويتبع غير سبيل المؤمنين نوله ما تولى ونصله جهنم وساءت مصيرا
[An-Nisa 4:115]
, and we ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to make us know the way of the first Muslims and to inspire us to walk upon its path. And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

The questioner : What do they want, our Shaykh? What do they want fromThe Shaykh : Al-Albani, who has confined himself between four walls? Rather, the constant, continuous calls day and night, and thousands of recorded tapes in the scholarly gatherings and others, and in the calls and occasions? How is this confining himself? I want to know? These people have limited minds.

The Shaykh : We seek help from Allah, we seek help from Allah. Pray for their guidance.

The questioner : May Allah guide them.

The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May Allah reward us and Islam with good, our Shaykh. The Shaykh : Muhammad Nasir al-Din Al-Albani. May Allah bless his knowledge and his life. And we, from here, if Allah wills, call upon him with a special plea to author a book on these topics so that all people can benefit from it, because these tapes do not reach all people, and their activity is limited to some people. Therefore, we call upon him with a special plea to author a book on these matters, just as he has authored books specifically for Sudan.

The Shaykh : We hope that Allah will make us successful in that, and that He will accept your supplication. And pray for us in our absence.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
