What is the meaning of "By Myself in My Hand"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : "By Myself in My Hand," the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
By Myself in My Hand والذي نفسي بيده
What is the meaning of this?

Another questioner : Does "hand" mean?

The Shaykh : Does "hand" mean?

The Shaykh : Is this a problem? If this is a problem, then His saying:
In whose hand is the realm of all things بيده ملكوت كل شيء
[Al-Mu'minun 23:88]
is problematic, and this is true; everything is in His hand, Blessed and Exalted is He. But this which is in His hand, we cannot define it according to our narrow concepts. And if there is no problem, as I believe, in His saying:
in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. بيده ملكوت كل شيء وإليه ترجعون
[Ya-Sin 36:83]
, then there is no problem in his saying (peace be upon him):
By the soul of Muhammad in My hand, or by what is in His hand والذي نفس محمد بيده أو و الذي بيده
. But these are problems raised by the people of innovation in order to deny the attributes thereby.
