What is the meaning of the hadith: (Visit [your friend] occasionally, and you will increase in love)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Our Shaykh, if you please, the hadith.

The Shaykh : Which hadith?

The questioner : The hadith that you said was authentic
Visit [your friend] occasionally, and you will increase in love زر غبًا تزدد حبًا
.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : So explain it?

The Shaykh : Well done. In reality, the hadith is
Visit [your friend] occasionally, and you will increase in love زر غِبًا تزدد حبًا
This is not something that should be forced into this occasion, because every issue has its own system. If you visit your friend in his house, at his place, or in his shop, you may expose him to some embarrassment. But it is not so if you meet him and say "As-salamu alaykum," then part ways saying "As-salamu alaykum," and after a while meet him again and say "As-salamu alaykum." My brother, we see those who are called Sufis and members of tariqas sitting in the gathering and completing [their counts], saying "Allah, Allah, Allah" one hundred times, a thousand times, ten thousand times, depending on what? The plan that was set for them by what? Their Shaykh whom they deify, or he holds a misbaha, or what he calls an alfiyah, and hangs it from the ceiling, and they stand up at midnight and count through it, and so on. All of this is not reported from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). But the thing that was reported from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), why do we not use it, and we exaggerate in it, and we say, "Now that we are meeting, why this exaggeration?" The Messenger said
Visit [your friend] occasionally, and you will increase in love زر غِبًا تزدد حبًا
This has its own occasion.

The questioner : Other etiquettes besides this.

The Shaykh : Well done, may Allah bless you. Put your hand here now.
