Many of the brothers are able to obtain a permit, for example, to travel to Palestine, so which is more important: jihad in Palestine or Afghanistan?

The questioner : Many of the brothers, my teacher, are able to obtain a permit, for example, to travel to Palestine, so which is more important: jihad in Afghanistan at that time?

The Shaykh : There is no jihad, my brother, in Palestine. Some people call it an intifada today. I think you are hearing about it today, but tomorrow you will not hear about it!
Another questioner: This is good, this ... .

The Shaykh : This has already been answered previously.

The questioner : There were groups preparing for jihad in Palestine, Muslim groups?

The Shaykh : That is not correct. We have spoken about this matter ... the answer, and do not forget what we have said before. I do not want to impose my opinion on people, but I want to remind you that there is no need to look into something that has already been looked into. I said that every movement, every group that is not based on purification and education will not stand. It does not mean they will not establish an Islamic state; it means they will not stand. So, the fact that there are Islamic people there—we know this—but this is not based on the foundation of education and purification. You, in particular, with many of the brothers present, we know, and the others we do not know, you know that most Muslims today do not know what they must know regarding the rights of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). The least that can be said about them is that they are ignorant of Him, and the worst that can be said is that they are hostile to Him, is that not so? So how can we hope for people who do not care about correcting their own beliefs, and then, when they do so themselves, they do not care about their brothers? The hadith that all Muslims know, what does the hadith say?
None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself. لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه
Sahih al-Bukhari 13
There is a well-known party among the Islamic parties that says openly, other parties are silent, but there is a difference between stating it and not stating it. There is a party that says we do not adopt a view on the beliefs in which Muslims have differed from fourteen centuries to today, but they adopt views that make the bereaved laugh, as it is said. And if they do not adopt this view, an individual from among them is expelled from their party. They adopt, for example, that the Muslim woman has the right to vote and the right to be elected. If someone from the party disagrees with them, he is not fit to be among them. How can this be, and how can these people establish the state of Islam on land that is originally Islamic land, while they do not act on the modern wisdom that some callers said: "Establish the state of Islam in your hearts, and it will be established for you in your land". If all Islamic groups do not care about applying this wisdom, and we do not exclude one from another, this is absolutely impossible except on the two previous pillars: purification and education. What is happening today in Palestine is something that brings temporary joy, but deeds are judged by their endings.
