The Shaykh : My Shaykh, this is being published in bulletins; these hadiths are being published in bulletins. Recently, you presented to us, or who did?

The Shaykh : A bulletin to see the top section, which is a hadith with no basis, and the bottom section, which is an authentic hadith. Do you remember the authentic hadith? Bulletins are now being issued in large numbers. It appears that people love good, but they do not know how to bring about good!

The questioner : What is the way, I mean.

The Shaykh : So they sit and look for a hadith that pleases them, then they go to the trouble of printing it and publishing it among the people. I think this hadith is of that sort. We advise that whoever wants to publish a hadith should take "Sahih al-Bukhari" or "Sahih Muslim," take a hadith and print it, or two or three hadiths and distribute them. But a hadith according to his own whim and manner, while he is ignorant of the Shari'ah, this harms the bulletin more than it benefits it!
