What is the authenticity of the hadith: “Fear Allah, and you will be the most knowledgeable of people”?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A question regarding mosques and the hadith that Khalid ibn al-Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) said: An Arab came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said:
O Messenger, I have come to ask you about what will suffice me in this world and the Hereafter. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Ask about whatever you wish. He said: I want to be the most knowledgeable of people. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Fear Allah, and you will be the most knowledgeable of people.
.

The Shaykh : This hadith is fabricated and has no basis in the Sunnah. Most of the hadiths circulated in newsletters seem to be deliberately spread by groups who publish hadiths that have no camel to lead and no bridle to hold, in such newsletters, while they neglect publishing authentic hadiths. It is very easy for them to transmit from Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, but they do not do so; instead, they publish these hadiths that have no basis in the books of hadith. This is part of that.
