Meaning of the Hadith: Every flesh that grew from illicit gain
Question: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 31:95 , what is the explanation of this hadith, O honorable Shaykh?
Answer: First: the hadith is weak, and it is narrated from Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), and it has two narrations,The first:Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 31:95 ،The second:Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 31:95 . And illicit gain (suhut) is that which is forbidden.
And the meaning of the hadith is: That every body and flesh that is nourished by that which is forbidden will be in the Fire on the Day of Resurrection as a punishment for it; because Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) has forbidden the impure things and the forbidden earnings, and He has commanded eating from the pure things that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) has made lawful for His servants; because that which is forbidden nourishes with a corrupt nourishment, whereas that which is pure nourishes with a pure nourishment and has good effects on the human body, and on his actions and morals. As for that which is impure, it nourishes the person with a corrupt nourishment, and that is reflected in the person's actions and deeds, so they become impure due to the influence of his impure food. This indicates the effect that food has on a person, and that he is affected by it with good if his food is pure, and he is affected by it with evil if his food is impure,And Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) said: [Al-Mu'minun: 51] .
And Allah the Exalted said: [An-Nahl: 114] .
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Baqarah: 168] .
And Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Baqarah: 172] .
So He commanded people in general to eat from the lawful and pure, and He commanded the believers in particular to eat from the pure things of what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has provided them, and to thank Allah for His blessing. This indicates the importance of food, and that a person should care about what he nourishes his body with, and avoid that which is forbidden. It is authentic in the hadith that eating that which is forbidden prevents the acceptance of supplication,As in the hadith of the traveler: and this is a very important matter.
Question: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Every flesh that grew from illicit gain, the Fire is more deserving of it
كل لحم نبت من سحت فالنار أولى بهAnswer: First: the hadith is weak, and it is narrated from Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), and it has two narrations,The first:

Then eat of what Allah has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And be grateful for the favor of Allah, if it is [indeed] Him that you worship.
Allah the Exalted said:
O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good
يَاأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوا مِمَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًاAnd Allah the Exalted said:
O you who have believed, eat from the good things which We have provided for you and be grateful to Allah if it is [indeed] Him that you worship.
