What is the ruling on a man spraying cologne on his clothes? And is the prayer valid with it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If a person puts cologne that contains a percentage of alcohol on his clothes or his body, does it invalidate the wudu' (ablution), and is it permissible to pray with it?

The Shaykh : It does not invalidate it, and the prayer is valid, except according to those who say that khamr (intoxicants) are ritually impure. There is no doubt that if the mother of all evils is ritually impure, as we said earlier, the mother of all evils is the most impure. But we have no evidence at all regarding the ritual impurity of khamr. Please, there is no necessary connection between something being forbidden and it being ritually impure, and the reverse is entirely correct, meaning that everything that is ritually impure is forbidden.
