Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In his second question, this questioner, Ibrahim Abu Hamid, asks: What are the religious and worldly benefits of seeking forgiveness, and is there a book written on this topic?

The Shaykh : The benefits of seeking forgiveness are that if a person seeks forgiveness from his Lord with sincerity, pure intention, and good opinion of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), then Allah the Exalted will forgive him; He will forgive his sin, as Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
[Az-Zumar 39:53]
And if Allah forgives his sin and he fears Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, then among the benefits of that is that Allah the Exalted will make his affairs easy for him and provide for him from where he does not expect, as Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease.
[At-Talaq 65:4]
And He said:
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out (3) And will provide for him from where he does not expect.
[At-Talaq 65:2-3]

The questioner : May Allah reward you with the best reward for us and for the Muslims.
