The Shaykh's advice to students of knowledge regarding the importance of sincerity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
In any case, we ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to make us among the sincere in our da'wah, whether we are right or wrong, because the foundation of every deed is sincerity. If a Muslim is sincere to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in his worship and his obedience, He will forgive the errors, whether intellectual or practical, that may surround him. And the opposite is not the case: if a person is the al-Bukhari of his time in hadith and Abu Hanifah in fiqh, but is not sincere to Allah in that, then His saying (Blessed and Exalted is He) applies to him:
And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed. وقدمنا إلى ما عملوا من عمل فجعلناه هباء منثورا
[Al-Furqan 25:23]
The man has his errors and his good deeds, and we hope that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) will correct our conduct, all of us, and grant us success in doing what is right. Yes.
