Sincerity in Deeds

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And therefore, the severe warning came regarding those who do not act upon their knowledge. And so we mentioned in the previous hadith in which he (peace be upon him) said:
Good news to this Ummah of elevation, glory, majesty, and establishment in the earth بشر ذهه الأمة بالرفعة والسناء والمجد والتمكين في الأرض
He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever does a deed for the world will have no share in the Hereafter فمن عمل عملا للدنيا فليس له في الآخرة من نصيب
This hadith obligates us that if we act upon our pure religion, our deeds must be sincere for the face of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), as our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) said:
And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين
[Al-Bayyinah 98:5]
. I want, at the end of this talk, to clarify that the path to rising up requires us to stay away from the forbidden things that we know with certainty, such as some of the examples of forbidden things mentioned previously, like shirk (associating partners with Allah), killing the soul without right, riba (usury or interest), and so on.
