The children of disbelievers: if they die before the age of accountability, are they judged to be in Paradise or in the Fire?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: Until we lengthen uponThe questioner : The answer to our question, we return to it to say: The children of disbelievers, if they die before the age of accountability, these are not judged to be in Paradise or in the Fire. As for the fact that they are not judged to be in the Fire, that is because Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says:
And never would We punish until We sent a messenger. وما كنا معذبين حتى نبعث رسولا
[Al-Isra 17:15]
And the completion of this is His saying, peace and blessings be upon him:
The pen has been lifted from three: From the sleeper until he wakes up, from the minor until he grows up, and from the insane until he comes back to his senses or recovers. رفع القلم عن ثلاث : عن النائم حتى يستيقظ وعن الصبي حتى يبلغ وعن المجنون حتى يفيق
Sunan an-Nasa'i 3432Hasan (Darussalam)
So, if this Christian boy, his father and his mother, the pen is lifted from him, the accountability is lifted from him, and therefore he is not judged to be in the Fire. But at the same time, he is not judged to be in Paradise either, because only a believing soul enters Paradise, and this is what distinguishes faith from disbelief. Therefore, it is not affirmed for him that he is in Paradise, nor is it affirmed for him that he is in the Fire. However, in the expanses and open spaces of the Day of Resurrection, they have a special treatment for these children, the children of Christians, and those to whom the call reached in the age of senility in old age, and those to whom the call did not reach at all. These are also not judged to be in Paradise or in the Fire. All of these have a special treatment in the expanses of the Day of Resurrection, as came in a collection of hadiths.
The summary of this treatment is that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, as He sent a messenger to people in this world, so whoever obeyed the messenger entered Paradise, and whoever disobeyed him entered the Fire, as He, peace and blessings be upon him, said in the authentic hadith:
All of you will enter Paradise except those who refuse. كلكم يدخل الجنة إلا من أبى
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 1:170
They said: And who will refuse, O Messenger of Allah? He said:
Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it). من أطاعني دخل الجنة ومن عصاني فقد أبى
Sahih al-Bukhari 7280
Similarly, those we mentioned from the categories, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will send to them on the Day of Resurrection a messenger specific to them, and He will command them all to throw themselves into the Fire.

The questioner: Who is it?

The Shaykh: Those we mentioned, the children of Christians andThe Shaykh : the one who reached the call in senility and in old age, and the one to whom the call did not reach at all; these types, Allah will send to them a messenger in the expanses of the Day of Resurrection. There is no abode of obligation there, no prayer, no fasting, etc., no. Rather, it is an hour of the day: throw yourselves into the Fire. Of course, this messenger sent by Allah to these people is like any messenger sent to the people of the earth; so these messengers were sent with proofs and miracles, establishing for people that they are sent from Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He. Similarly, you must imagine that this messenger whom Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, sends in the expanses of the Day of Resurrection, He sends him with the confirmation.

The questioner: Who is the messenger?

The Shaykh: It is not named in the hadith who he is; but the point is that he has the banner, he has the proof that he is sent from Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He. He commands them all to throw themselves into the Fire. So whoever obeyed, his Fire became Paradise, and whoever disobeyed him entered the Fire despite his nose. These people, who are from the three categories, when Allah, Mighty and Majestic, sends to them a messenger commanding them to throw themselves into the Fire, whoever obeyed him entered Paradise, and whoever disobeyed him entered the Fire.
