Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Regarding the first issue, the hadith:
The children of the polytheists are the servants of the people of Paradise أطفال المشركين خدم أهل الجنة
.?

The Shaykh : Yes, if you have understood the previous details, there is no doubt that among these children are those who respond to the Messenger's call, and those will be the servants. There is no problem with that, and I do not see what you are doing.

The questioner : By Allah, I do not know anything, the hadith is in ...

The Shaykh : How do you not know. ?

The questioner : I mean, I see the hadith regarding all the children of polytheists.

The Shaykh : If someone else said this, do you not know that in fiqh there is the general and the specific?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : So, what stopped you at this general statement, given your knowledge of ... ?

The questioner : What specified it?

The Shaykh : What I mentioned to you just now.

The questioner : The hadith ... are the children mentioned in it?

The Shaykh : In some narrations mentioned by Imam Ibn Kathir in his tafsir at the verse:
And never would We punish until We sent a messenger. وما كنا معذبين حتى نبعث رسولا
[Al-Isra 17:15]
This is one thing, and the second thing is: when the Messenger was asked about the children of polytheists, whether they are in the Fire or in Paradise, he said:
Allah knows best what they would have done. الله أعلم بما كانوا يعملون
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1949Sahih (Darussalam)

The questioner : In the Muslims' graveyards.

Another questioner : According to what he holds now, on the apparent meaning of the hadith ...

The Shaykh : If someone else said it, and this is one of the many examples that the Salafi methodology requires great application, and among that is His saying, the Exalted:
And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination. ومن يشاقق الرسول من بعد ما تبين له الهدى ويتبع غير سبيل المؤمنين نوله ما تولى ونصله جهنم وساءت مصيرا
[An-Nisa 4:115]
So the question now develops based on the previous answer, so we say: What is the way of the believers regarding disbelievers in general, both adults and children?

The questioner : With the disbelievers, but Shaykh, I mention the choice of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim

The Shaykh : Which one?

The questioner : That the children of polytheists are in Paradise based on this hadith.

The Shaykh : No, you are deviating now.

The questioner : No, he means this ...

The Shaykh : No, you are deviating now, what was the last point? Burial.

The questioner : No, I commented on the basis that the Salafi methodology requires ... so the Imams of the Salaf chose this opinion.

The Shaykh : You are deviating, you are still insisting on deviating, it appears you want to write a second book on deviation ...
The Shaykh: Suppose that is the case, is this in this world or in the hereafter? Open your eyes here, meaning we do not kill the Shaykh al-Islam.

The questioner : No, I am with you in this issue, Shaykh ... because it is not possible for one to have his son die and go to bury him in the graveyards of people of a religion other than his.

The Shaykh : And I know. !

The questioner : I am with you, sir, but in the hereafter matter, as long as this hadith says:
The children of the polytheists are the servants of the people of Paradise أطفال المشركين خدم أهل الجنة
By what did we take it out or say that it is not in Paradise or in the Fire. ?

The Shaykh : We took it out by what we mentioned to you that the children are mentioned in some narrations mentioned by Ibn Kathir in the previous verse:
And never would We punish until We sent a messenger. وما كنا معذبين حتى نبعث رسولا
[Al-Isra 17:15]
Then we mentioned to you the agreed-upon hadith when he was asked about the children of polytheists: are they in Paradise or in the Fire.

The questioner : Our professor, the second hadith can be directed, the second hadith:
Allah knows best what they would have done الله أعلم بما كانوا فاعلين
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1949Sahih (Darussalam)
.

The Shaykh :
... what they were doing ... بما كانوا يعملون
.

The questioner :
... what they were doing ... بما كانوا يعملون

The Shaykh : No, there are many things and very many, if we say that all the children of polytheists are in Paradise, then they are equal to the children of Muslims, and this contradicts the apparent saying of the Noble Qur'an which says:
We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds ألحقنا بهم ذريتهم وما ألتناهم من عملهم من شيء
[At-Tur 52:21]
These are the Muslims, their offspring follow them, while the one who says that all the children of polytheists are included by entering them into Paradise, this contradicts this divine specification in the Noble Qur'an:
We will join with them their descendants ألحقنا بهم ذريتهم
[At-Tur 52:21]
You are reciting the verse, of course, ah, so then the child of a Muslim father is not equal to the child of a disbeliever father, they are not equal, for example.

The questioner : I mean, it does not become part of the hadith cited by Ibn Kathir that the two matters are not equal.

The Shaykh : Yes, yes, they are never equal.

The questioner : Shaykh, he said that this child came from Muslim parents, and this one came from parents on the religion of disbelief, so what is the difference between them. ? I mean, what is the sin of the child who was born from disbelieving parents. ?

The Shaykh : You made a mistake, repeat your words so that you do not make a mistake, and the believer is not bitten twice from the same hole, where is the accountability here?

The questioner : I say if ...

The Shaykh : What are you saying, I am asking you now, you say why is he held accountable, where is the accountability in our previous statement. ?

The questioner : I mean, his being presented for the test again on the Day of Resurrection.

The Shaykh : Is this accountability. ?

The questioner : And not judging him to be in Paradise although he is innocent.

The Shaykh : One by one, is this accountability. ?

The questioner : I mean, it seems to me because he did not reach the age of accountability.

The Shaykh : It seems to you, it should also be followed by erasure, do you know why?

The questioner: No.

The Shaykh : Because then you judge all people in this world by what you judged the children of disbelievers, this is enough for you and not... ?

The questioner : I think it does not bind me

The Shaykh : No, this is enough for you, did you understand me? I mean, I say in your language that when ...

The questioner : Sending the Messenger means accountability, and thus the other parties, but Shaykh, there is a difference between them, this one did not reach the age of accountability to have a Messenger sent to him and be held accountable for it. ?

The Shaykh : I am telling you the word accountability, whether he reached the age of accountability or did not reach the age of accountability; but our Lord obliges whom He wills with what He wills; so He created the creation and obligated them, and sent to them a Messenger, do you see, is there any accountability in this. ?

The questioner : There is nothing in this.

The Shaykh : Good, now we come to the children of disbelievers, if a Messenger is sent to them, and with this Messenger, as we assumed previously, is proof that he is sent from Allah, and you know that the nature of proof is that every person of accountability understands it, correct. ?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Then it does not concern us whether he was a child or a man; the important thing is that this Messenger is known to be from Allah, Mighty and Majestic; so then the proof appeared to him and he did not submit to it, is there accountability in this. ?

The questioner : No, there is no accountability.

The Shaykh : So what is the problem. ?

The questioner : My comment, Shaykh, is that he did not reach the age of accountability and the pen is lifted from him, and thus he will be subjected to another obligation. ?

The Shaykh : I answer you about this, or what is my speech about. ?! This child reached the age of discretion, the age of understanding the proof, then he believed or disbelieved, is there accountability here. ?

The questioner: No.

The Shaykh : So what. ? Repeat your words and tell me that you are talking about the child, this is one thing, a second thing: is it necessary that these children remain as they died in terms of their childhood. ?

The questioner : Excuse me, Shaykh, repeat

The Shaykh : I say, is it necessary that these children died before the age of accountability in this world that when they are resurrected they will be so. ?

The questioner : It is not ...

The Shaykh : So there is no conclusive argument at all in the problem you raised ...
and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants واتبعتهم ذريتهم بإيمان ألحقنا بهم ذرياتهم
[At-Tur 52:21]
.

The questioner :
their offspring ذريتهم
Or is there a reading. ?

The Shaykh : There are two narrations, two readings, yes.

The questioner : The important thing, Shaykh, the wise thing is that the children of polytheists are the servants of the people of Paradise in your previous statement that it is specific. ?

The Shaykh : Yes, by those who obeyed the Messenger in the expanses of the Day of Resurrection.
Al-Halabi : I mean, Shaykh, the summary: that whoever enters Paradise from the children of polytheists, his function is to be a servant. ?

The Shaykh : Yes, this is what we differed on, but he ...
Al-Halabi : I mean, this is the reconciliation, but the matter is completely clear, I mean, they are not people who are in Paradise in bliss and so on, and there are people who are servants, because I think there, whoever entered Paradise from the children of polytheists in response to the Messenger, his function is to be a servant.

The questioner : My sir, they are all in Paradise, what is the problem. ? The important thing is that they enter Paradise.

The questioner : The punishment of the grave, Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah cited a saying of Malik, Malik's hadith that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, the child who died, is this correct or not correct? And if it is correct, is he punished, I mean, is this disbeliever child judged to be punished with the punishment of the grave or not punished. ?

The Shaykh : Who said that the child is punished with the punishment of the grave?

The questioner : Because Ibn Taymiyyah cited a saying based on Malik's hadith and authenticated it, the child is a disbeliever ... punishment of the grave

The Shaykh : If you do not recall the hadith, I do not know it.
