Clarification of the hadith (The Trustworthy Muslim Steward) narrated by Abu Musa from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I want to clarify this hadith, if Allah wills. It is that Abu Musa al-Ash'ari narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
The trustworthy Muslim servant who carries out what he is ordered to do is given a full, sufficient provision, and he is pleased with it, and he sells it to the one for whom he was ordered to buy it, whether that person is one of the donors or not. الخادم المسلم الأمين الذي ينفذ ما أمر به فيعطى كاملاً موفرًا طيبةً به نفسه فيبتعه إلى الذي أمر له في أحد المتصدقين أو غير المتصدقين
, ... concise?

The Shaykh : This steward, whom they call the trustee, is ordered by the prince or the responsible head to do whatever he wishes. He says to him, "Give so-and-so fifty dinars, and so-and-so a hundred dinars," and so on.
He must perform the trust for its rightful owners and not betray the money, for the owner of the money is one of the donors.

The questioner : When you say "one of the donors," do you mean the treasurer?

The Shaykh : The owner of the money, whether the money belongs to one person or to a group, and he is the trustee.

The questioner : The treasurer.

The Shaykh : Yes... He is one of the donors if the money collected in the box belongs to one person, and he is one of the donors if the money belongs to a group.

The questioner : The one who manages the arrangement is the treasurer, of course.

The Shaykh : Yes.
