The questioner : This questioner is Abu Abdullah, residing in Riyadh. He has a set of questions. He says: In the hadith about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Shaykh : May Allah send prayers and peace upon him.

The questioner :
Whoever conceals knowledge will be bridled with a bridle of fire من كتم علما ألجِم بلجام من نار
or as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said. The questioner says: I memorize some of the hadiths. Is it obligatory for me to convey them to people in the mosques, where I am unable to do so, or what should I do? May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : The hadith he referred to is about the one who is asked about knowledge and conceals it; he will be bridled with a bridle of fire on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever knows knowledge, it is obligatory for him to convey it, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
It is incumbent on those who are present to inform those who are absent. ليُبلّغ الشاهد منكم الغائب

The means of conveying are many: either he conveys it in a gathering, or in a mosque, or in a classroom, or otherwise, to the extent of his ability. He should, if he wants to convey it, wait for suitable opportunities so that people will turn to him and take from him. Yes.
