The questioner : The hadith
No prophet was sent except that he tended sheep ما من نبي إلا ورعى الغنم
?

The Shaykh : Correct...
Al-Halabi : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon the master of the messengers. What is the ruling in the pure Shari'ah regarding what we see from some of our brothers who claim to follow the Sunnah in some countries, where they have established parties, organizations, and Islamic fronts to confront the forces hostile to Islam, as they say? Especially since they sometimes cite a jurisprudential principle that states, "What is necessary for the completion of an obligatory act is itself obligatory." Are there any scriptural proofs from the Book of our Lord (Glorified and Exalted is He) and the Sunnah of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that permit them to engage in such party politics? Please inform us, may Allah benefit you and bless you, and may Allah reward you with good.
