The reciter: The author (may Allah have mercy on him) quoted: "From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: Sahih al-Bukhari 2262 Al-Bukhari narrated it.
And from him (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:Sahih Muslim 1889a Muslim narrated it.
His statement: meaning: to move swiftly, : meaning: its back, : the sound of war ".
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
These are two hadiths in the chapter on seclusion from people out of fear of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). The first is the hadith of Abu Hurayrah, in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:: meaning, no prophet among the prophets whom Allah (Mighty and Majestic) sent to His servants tended sheep, Sahih al-Bukhari 2262: meaning, even the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tended sheep. The scholars said: "The wisdom behind this is that a person trains himself in caring for creation and guiding them to what is beneficial, because the shepherd of sheep sometimes directs them to a green, flower-filled valley, and sometimes to a valley that is not like that, and sometimes to land that has neither, and sometimes he does not tend them at all, leaving them standing." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will shepherd the Ummah (the Muslim community), guiding them to good with knowledge, guidance, and insight, like a shepherd who has knowledge of good pastures, and who has sincerity and guidance for the sheep toward what is good for them and what fattens them. Sheep were chosen because their owner is one of calmness, tranquility, and peace, unlike camels; the owners of camels are generally severe and harsh, because camels are also severe and harsh. Therefore, Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) chose for His messengers to tend sheep, so that they would become accustomed and trained in caring for creation. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) tended them for the people of Makkah for a small fee, and Musa (peace be upon him) tended them as a dowry for the daughter of the owner of Madyan, for he said: [Al-Qasas 28:27].
As for the second hadith: it is also evidence that seclusion is better. A person holds the reins of his horse and gallops on it whenever he hears a war cry: meaning he is far from people, concerned with the affairs of jihad, secluded from people, but in the best state of readiness to ride out and fight. Whenever he hears a war cry, he mounts and gallops, meaning he moves with great speed. Likewise, if he is in a place among the valleys and ridges, secluded from people, and there is no one among the people but in goodness, then he is in goodness. But we have previously stated that these texts are understood to apply when mixing with people involves fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) and evil. As for when there is no fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) or evil:Bulugh al-Maram 16:100.
Allah did not send any prophet but shepherded sheep." His companions asked him, "Did you do the same?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Yes, I used to shepherd the sheep of the people of Mecca for some Qirats."
ما بعث الله نبياً إلا رعى الغنم، فقال أصحابه وأنت ؟ قال: كنت أرعاها على قراريط لأهل مكةAnd from him (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:
Of the men he lives the best life who holds the reins of his horse (ever ready to march) in the way of Allah, flies on its back whenever he hears a fearful shriek, or a call for help, flies to it seeking death at places where it can be expected. (Next to him) is a man who lives with his sheep at a hill-top or in a valley, says his prayers regularly, gives Zakat and worships his Lord until death comes to him. There is no better person among men except these two.
His statement:
