Is it permissible to raise the hands in supplication with the saying of "Ameen" on Friday?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible to raise the hands in supplication on Friday with the saying of "Ameen"?

The Shaykh : Raising the hands in supplication on Friday with the saying of "Ameen" is not from the Sunnah, neither for the imam nor for the congregation. Rather, it is from the Sunnah for the imam to occasionally supplicate for an incidental matter on Friday. Supplicating on Friday, and especially adhering to this supplication in the second khutbah, has no basis in the Sunnah whatsoever. The second khutbah is exactly like the first; what is intended in the first is intended in the second. The first is intended for reminding, alerting, and teaching, and the second khutbah is the same, with no difference between the first and the second. There is no difference between the imam supplicating on the minbar in the first or the second khutbah when it becomes necessary due to an incidental, urgent matter; there is no difference. The issue is that there is no Sunnah for a person to supplicate, for example, as one of us does in the tashahhud, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Then let him choose whatever he wishes from supplication. ثم ليتخير من الدعاء ما شاء
Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:238
, and to supplicate when raising the head from ruku'
Allah has heard the one who praises Him. Our Lord, to You belongs all praise, filling the heavens and filling the earth and filling what is between them and filling what You will of that which is after it... سمع الله لمن حمده ربنا لك الحمد ملأ السموات وملأ الأرض وملأ ما بينهما وملأ ما شئت به من بعده ...
, and so on. But it is not reported in the Sunnah at all that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) would specifically designate the second khutbah on Friday with any supplication, as the Friday preachers do in this time, and we do not exclude any of them. But we distinguish between the Salafi and the Khalafi, between the Sunni and the innovator, from any aspect. The Sunni, for example, does not make his supplication, nor does he deserve to have a broad supplication, unlike the other preachers. The second khutbah from them is almost nothing but supplication, supplication, and supplication, and the mosque is filled with the saying of "Ameen." All of this is contrary to the Sunnah. The principle is that there should be no supplication at all except for an incidental matter, just as qunut is not prescribed in any of the five prayers, even in Fajr. But if a calamity befalls the Muslims and a disaster strikes them, the imams of the mosques supplicate in the last rak'ah of the five prayers with what is appropriate for the calamity, and not with the qunut supplication which is from the supplication of witr
O Allah, guide us among those You have guided, and grant us well-being among those You have granted well-being اللهم اهدنا فيمن هديت وعافنا فيمن عافيت
Sahih Ibn Hibban 7:117
. No, they supplicate with what is appropriate for the calamity. Likewise, in the Friday khutbah, it is not prescribed for the preacher to adhere to a supplication and for the listeners to adhere to saying "Ameen" behind him. All of this has no basis in the Sunnah. Rather...
