One who fasts with a country and then travels to another country: what must he do?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Naturally, I fasted in Saudi Arabia, and the start was there just as it is here. The Eid was confirmed here; naturally, they announced the confirmation of the Eid here, but it was not announced there. There, they completed thirty days, as is well known. Here, it was twenty-nine days. What is your opinion in a case like this?

The Shaykh : If your breaking of the fast with the town where you recently settled completes the month according to the Shari'ah, then break your fast with the people of the town, and you have done what is required, as long as the fasting began with a single start. The end does not differ in this regard, whether the end was after thirty days or not. However, if you started later than we did here, even by one day, then it is obligatory for you to remain fasting to complete twenty-nine days. And Allah knows best.
