The Shaykh : Many of our brothers see many scholars in their dreams in the state of being beardless, meaning they have shaved their beards. Is there a figurative interpretation, may Allah reward you?The Shaykh ؟
The Shaykh : First, we remind all our brothers that we do not advise them to pay attention to dreams except for a dream in which the dreamer feels that it belongs to the category that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praised in the authentic hadith: If he sees this, it has no value. Likewise, if it is of the type that comes from the deception of Satan, the enemy of man, then when a dream contains seeing a beardless scholar, meaning seeing a scholar who disobeys Allah (Mighty and Majestic), these dreams, or this dream, as long as it contains seeing a beardless scholar, the scholar seen in the dream as beardless is either actually so in his waking life, or he is not. In that case, if the scholar seen as beardless is not beardless in his actual life, then this is a dream that heralds evil and warns of evil. And if he is not beardless in his waking life but is seen as beardless in the dream, he is a sinner, so it does not herald good. As for the first matter and the second matter, as long as they meet in a dream of a person who is engaged in sin, but one dream differs from another. If the dream represents a real life, meaning he is always beardless, that is worse. And if he is not so, but he is seen as beardless in the dream, it is evil. At that time, we advise in such an occasion of two things. The first is to observe the etiquettes of the dreamer regarding dreams, for it came in the authentic hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that whoever sees a dream that pleases him, let him tell it to a righteous scholar. And if he sees a dream that saddens him, whose apparent signs indicate evil, let him not tell it to anyone, and let him spit to his left three times, for it will not harm him. This is what can be said in such an occasion.
Abu Malik: Our Shaykh, the brothers actually sitting here, because the space is not spacious, say that they cannot hear.
The Shaykh : And the summary is that a dream whose apparent meaning is evil, first, he should spit to his left three times, for it will not harm him, and second, he should not narrate it to anyone.
The questioner : This matter happened to more than six people who saw more than four scholars, meaning from our scholars whom we consider, if Allah wills, to be on good.
The Shaykh : Yes.
The questioner : Does this constitute evil for the scholar himself?
The Shaykh : I answered this, may Allah bless you, that you should not take notice of dreams, because dreams are three. One out of three, what is it? It is a divine dream. And this will be a divine dream now, based on your repetition of the question, it will be a divine dream that requires a figurative interpretation; it will not be on its apparent meaning. And this is another problem: those who are able to interpret dreams, first, they need to distinguish this dream from the other two categories.

Dreams are of three types: a dream from the Most Merciful, a dream from Satan, and a dream from the self-talk of the soul.
