Ali Hasan al-Halabi’s talk on the Ba’th and Reform Document.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Ali Hasan: It is a confirmation of what our Shaykh mentioned, meaning a transfer of the document, which is the document of the alliance, agreement, and cooperation. His Highness’s document, the Ba’th and Reform, is the Muslim Brotherhood party; there is the Ba’th and Reform and the Nasserist Unity.

The Shaykh: Allahu Akbar.
Ali Hasan: Regarding the draft of the political work charter, and of course, under this article, there is a lot to say, and there is no harm. As for the disparagement of the Salafis, Shaykh, in the magazine *al-Islah*, what do they call it? Under the title "The Najdi Phenomenon in Yemen: Between the Stagnation of Thought, the Randomness of Judgment, the Boldness of Fatwas, the Monopoly of Understanding, the Cancellation of Others, and the Dilemma of Isolation and the Alienation of Interaction!"

The Shaykh: Allahu Akbar.
Abu Malik: They changed it, but the word is the same.

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly.
Ali Hasan: It is a form of deception, Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Yes.
Ali Hasan: To the other party, this is our Salafi methodology!

The Shaykh : What Allah willed!
Ali Hasan: It is our Salafi methodology! And as for what lies under this word, let it be said, and there is no harm; rather, let it be said, and all the harm comes from deception and defilement.

The Shaykh : There is no power nor strength except with Allah. Allah is the Greatest.
Ali Hasan: There is no power nor strength except with Allah. I say, of course, under the titles they have placed, they say: "They opened the door of independent legal reasoning (ijtihad) for those who are unemployed from the tools of research and the criteria of deduction, claiming to seek evidence, which contradicts the methodology of the Salaf." And they say: "They burdened the Ummah with a specific opinion and accused the dissenters of religious innovation (bid'ah) in matters where there is room for consideration."

The Shaykh: Correct.
Ali Hasan: Room for consideration.

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly.
Ali Hasan: It contradicts the correct Islamic path, so this word "room" is a secular, Shi'ite term.

The Shaykh: Allahu Akbar.

The questioner : May Allah fight them; how are they turned away?
Abu Malik: Shaykh, a moment, I mean, in my opinion, rather in my certainty.

The Shaykh : And my belief!
Abu Malik: And my firm belief is that this campaign launched by those party members and factions, and I do not say it is against an idea or a belief held by people only, but they wanted to link the present of the Ummah to its past and to save it from the decline it is in, from corrupt beliefs and fabricated falsehoods. So I say the matter does not stop at this only, but there is an aspect that should be attended to, which is a psychological aspect mentioned by the Qur'an in Surat al-Baqarah:
Many of the People of the Scripture wish they could turn you back to disbelief after you have believed, out of envy from themselves [even] after the truth has become clear to them ود كثير من أهل الكتاب لو يردونكم من بعد إيمانكم كفارا حسدا من عند أنفسهم من بعد ما تبيّن لهم الحق
[Al-Baqarah 2:109]
.

The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest, by Allah.
Abu Malik: So this, as Allah also said about the people of Salih:
They denied it and their souls were convinced of it. جحدوا بها واستيقتنها أنفسهم
They denied it outwardly and fought it, but they know that the truth is in it, but they do not want that because they came from envy. And everything is hoped to have its self corrected, or every person is hoped to have his self corrected, except if he is envious. Yes.

The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest. You spoke the truth, you spoke the truth. May Allah be the Helper.
Abu Malik: The Jews only opposed the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when they saw his call spread and become widespread, filling the hearts, minds, and souls of the people, and it became a threat to the existence of the Jews as a nation that was living in the land of the Arabian Peninsula. And I say, and this means I have said it for a long time, that if Islam does not begin and return to the land of the Arabs anew and revive this Ummah as it was in its former era, then Islam is not to be expected, or it is not hoped for its people to be as they were. So they were given this only when they saw this call spreading among the people, walking on its own without a force supporting it, as they say, and without great effort exerted by people with their bodies, and it walks with ease and without stubbornness or hardship. And so they saw that this call threatens the existence of all these parties, so they rose up together, united in solidarity, to try to erase this call, God forbid. And they will not have victory or success, because Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) has guaranteed it.

The Shaykh : I mean, their case is like the case of the Jews, the heads of the Jews and the nobles of Quraysh. May Allah be the Helper.
Abu Malik: So always, my brothers, I advise you to read the Mu'awwidhat (the last three chapters of the Qur'an) morning and evening.

The Shaykh : Indeed, by Allah
Abu Layla : Shaykh, I mean, your words.

The Shaykh : From the evil of an envier when he envies.
Abu Layla : Shaykh, who was with us on the road, Shaykh, and took the path of partisanship, meaning he stirred up the brothers in Kuwait when they started spreading the new way in the Salafi party. It was upon them that some of the brothers were photographed with the Ba’th party, even on video. Even the Islamic anthems, they issued a ruling that it is not permissible to listen to these things now in the same field!

The Shaykh: Allahu Akbar.
Abu Layla : And the pictures exist, Shaykh, on video, and the personal photography between him and... the Iraqi Ba’th.
Abu Malik: Yes, indeed.

The Shaykh : Allah is the Helper.
Abu Malik: No, it is not this document that the brother Ali spoke about.

The Shaykh : But he is talking about Kuwait.
Abu Malik: Yes, indeed.
Abu Layla : With this collective work, which he wants to measure one party for the Salafis... the material aspect, and they turned them away from the path.
Abu Malik: In any case, we ask Allah.

The questioner : There is no power and no strength except with Allah.

The Shaykh : Allah is the Helper.
The questioner: May Allah preserve you, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : May Allah keep us all safe.
