The Shaykh : The bride is taken in a car that drowns out the adhan with its noise, disturbing the people. More than that, they block the road for people, because they intend this procession for boasting and advertising. Therefore, the photographer goes ahead of them with his video camera, wanting to film, so that people walking to attend to their personal affairs are trapped behind this fake procession. When it is filmed, it shows many, many cars, which have no relation to this procession that they imposed on people by force. So, without a doubt, the matter involves violations in many aspects. It is not permissible to advertise; it should be limited to the house. As for this procession, it is also among the calamities that have befallen the Muslims through imitating the disbelievers, and perhaps they have gone even further than them. This is a clear matter of prohibition. If there were someone to judge by what Allah has revealed, he would stop them—may Allah have mercy on you. We often hear, especially during this season, the summer vacation, that the people who go to attend to their affairs outside the town come during the summer vacation. And the one who has saved up a few coins to get married, so what is this season? You find a wedding party, and they bring in the musical band, in front of the mosque while the people are in prayer, and the music is doing its work. I think the disbelievers on Sunday, while they are in the church, do not do this at all. And so, unfortunately, the Muslims have neither a religion to follow nor a mind to guide them. Yes.
