The Shaykh : There is no doubt that all of what you mentioned is contrary to the Shari'ah. First, his entering upon the non-mahram women, even if they are wearing hijab, which is not the case in reality. There may be some wearing hijab, but most of them are in their adornment. This is undoubtedly forbidden and not permissible. And the bride going out in a car that deafens people with its sound, disturbing them. More than that, they block the road for people, because they intend by this outing to show off and advertise. Therefore, the photographer goes ahead of them with his video camera, wanting to film, so he confines the people walking in their personal affairs behind this fake procession, until when it is filmed, it shows many and very numerous cars, which have no relation to this procession that they imposed on people by force. So undoubtedly, the matter involves transgressions from many aspects. Therefore, it is not permissible to advertise; it should be limited to the house. This is one of the customs that have stuck to Muslims from imitating the disbelievers, and perhaps they have gone beyond it. This is a clear prohibition. If there were someone who judged by what Allah has revealed, he would stop them—may Allah have mercy on you. And we often hear, especially in this season of the summer vacation, that the people who go to take care of their affairs outside the town come back in the summer vacation, and the one who has enough money to get married, so what is this?
