Does the servant see the angels?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Do the angels see?

The Shaykh : How?

The questioner : The angels

The Shaykh : What about the angels?

The questioner : Do they see, meaning does the son of Adam see the angels?

The Shaykh : Do humans see the angels?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes. As for their form in which Allah created them, the answer is no. As for a form they resemble, yes. Dhiya' al-Kalbi saw Jibril (peace be upon him)—excuse me, Jibril was seen in the form of Dhiya' al-Kalbi by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and by others. As for seeing Jibril in his true form, that was not for anyone except the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The answer is clear.

The questioner : Clear. And may Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : My greetings to all the brothers.
Hamid: May Allah reward you with good. I metThe Shaykh : Muhammad al-Banna.

The Shaykh : In Jeddah.
Hamid: No, he was in i'tikaf (spiritual retreat) with us in Makkah.

The Shaykh : In the Makkah Haram (sacred precinct). Congratulations to you.
Hamid: Your prayers, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : You should pray for me. May Allah bless you.
Hamid: May Allah prolong our life in your age, if Allah wills.

The Shaykh : May Allah preserve you, my brother.
Hamid: If Allah wills, we will see you.

The Shaykh : If Allah wills, we will see you. May you be well.
Hamid: If Allah wills. May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : And beware
Hamid: And peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
