And his argumentation also with the hadith of the one who heard a voice in the clouds saying, "Rain on the land of so-and-so."
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And the second hadith is in Sahih Muslim. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A voice from the clouds, just as humans speak on the surface of the earth; there is a person speaking in the language of humans; but in the clouds! "O cloud! Rain on the land of so-and-so, son of so-and-so." . You know that villages in the past were not this large, nor with a population size where a person could recognize his relatives due to the large number, let alone his distant ones; so the village was counted in number and the faces were known. This is the state of the righteous! They do not have arrogance, and this pride? . What could be better than this? So look now at how the Lord of the heavens subjected the sea to the first man, and then the Lord of the sea subjected the sky to the other man; what is the common factor in this subjection? [At-Talaq 65:2-3] . And we ask Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) to make us among the pious who act upon the Book and the Sunnah.
The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
While a man from before you was walking in a desert of the land, he heard a voice from the clouds saying: Rain on the land of so-and-so
He was walking, for example, east, then he turned south! The man on earth walked with the cloud; and behold, he saw the cloud emptying its load of rain into a garden; it sprinkled it, and behold, he saw a man working in it; in his land, in his garden; so he came to him and greeted him; the owner of the garden looked at him and saw a stranger, not from the people of that village
When the man saw him, he said to him: You seem to be a stranger. He said to him: Yes, so what brought you? He said to him: I was walking and I heard a voice from the clouds saying to the cloud: Rain on the land of so-and-so; so I came with the cloud; and behold, the cloud emptied its load of rain into your land; so by what did you attain this from your Lord?
He said: By Allah! I do not know, I am an ordinary man; but I have this land, so I plant it and tend to it; then I harvest it; so I make its harvest into three parts: one third I return to the land, and one third I spend on myself and my family, and one third I give in charity to the poor and the needy; so the man said to him: That is it
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out (3) And will provide for him from where he does not expect.
The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
