Mentioning the Rightly Guided Caliphs in the Friday Sermon

Question: Is mentioning the four Rightly Guided Caliphs in the Friday sermon obligatory or not?

Answer: Expressing satisfaction with the Rightly Guided Caliphs in the Friday sermon is part of the practice of Muslims. It is part of the creed of the people of the Sunnah and the community to express satisfaction with the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in general, and to love them and be loyal to them. This is especially true for the four Caliphs, given their virtue and precedence in Islam. This is also a way of differing from the Rafidah, may Allah curse them, who hate the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and especially the Rightly Guided Caliphs. Thus, the people of the Sunnah and the community express satisfaction with them in the Friday sermon, differing from the Rafidah,And in accordance with the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And [there is a share for] those who came after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."

[Seeking Amine in Response to the Khatib’s Supplication]

Question: Is saying Amine in response to the Imam’s supplication after the sermon in the Friday prayer an innovation,That is, when the Imam supplicates and we respond behind him by saying: Amine, is this an innovation? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good?

Answer: Saying Amine in response to the Khatib’s supplication in the final part of the sermon, when he begins to supplicate for the Muslims, is recommended, and it is not an innovation. However, it should not be done with a collective voice or a loud voice. Rather, each person says Amine individually and in a low voice, so that there is no disturbance or loud voices. Rather, each person says Amine in response to the Khatib’s supplication secretly and separately from the others.
