What is your guidance to the relevant bodies regarding the collection of funds?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O Shaykh, what indicates that information leaks to everyone inside Bosnia is that the place we were walking on just hours ago was taken by the Serbs. There are areas that are very weak, and they know them first by first, and everyone who passes through, information reaches them that he is passing through such and such a point now. May Allah the Mighty and Majestic preserve us, it was He who was with us.

The Shaykh : And so I asked how the path to reaching the place of da'wah is, is it safe or is it in danger?

The questioner : Yes, good, yes. The other matter, it is necessary for a guiding word from you, may Allah preserve you, and that there are about twenty-four bodies, approximately, and they all collect funds...

The Shaykh : This is the nature of Muslims being scattered.

The questioner : But unfortunately, they cannot coordinate among themselves to identify each entity and give it what it lacks. If only you would advise this institution, as we observed in our speech, that it seeks da'wah and does not rush to make its slogan in this camp or to have a media image filmed and then published. If only a guiding word for these bodies that do not purify their knowledge...

The Shaykh : After the ruin of Basra, speech is of no benefit, may Allah bless you. Because most of the works, and we cannot generalize, are not for the sake of Allah, but rather either to show that they are working for Islam while they are not working for Islam, because working for Islam is not a material work as the disbelievers do it. The disbelievers help each other, but their affair is as Allah the Exalted said:
And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
[Al-Furqan 25:23]
So work in Islam does not benefit unless it is pure for the sake of Allah the Exalted. Do you see the groups that were striving in the path of Allah in Afghanistan? Do you see if they were all seeking the face of Allah the Exalted? And as came in the authentic hadith from the hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him)
A man said: O Messenger of Allah, is the man among us who fights with bravery in the path of Allah? He said: No. He said: Is the man among us who fights out of tribalism in the path of Allah?
The third, and perhaps the fourth, each one asks a question in the path of Allah, and the answer is the answer: No. They said: Who is in the path of Allah? He said:
Whoever fought so that the Word of Allah is supreme, then he is in Allah's cause.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1646Sahih (Darussalam)
Likewise, the endowments and aid are treated in the same manner. Whoever among them spends in the path of Allah is the successful one, and otherwise he is the loser. So there is no wonder that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) coupled with the mujahideen in the path of Allah two other groups, one of them being the scholars and the other being the rich. He said (may the prayer and peace be upon him) in the authentic hadith:
The first of the people about whom the Fire will blaze on the Day of Resurrection are three: a scholar, a mujahid, and a rich man. The scholar will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said to him: O My servant, what did you do with what you knew? He will say: O my Lord, I spread it in Your path. It will be said to him: You lied, you only taught so that people would say so-and-so is a scholar. And it will be said: Take him to the Fire. And the mujahid will be brought and it will be said to him: What did you do with the strength We gave you? He will say: O my Lord, I fought in Your path. It will also be said to him: You lied, you only fought so that people would say so-and-so is brave. And it will be said: Take him to the Fire. Then the rich man will be brought and it will be said to him: What did you do with the wealth We bestowed upon you? He will say: O my Lord, I spent it in Your path. It will be said: You lied, you only did it so that people would say so-and-so is generous. And it will be said: Take him to the Fire. He (may the prayer and peace be upon him) said: These three are the first of the people about whom the Fire will blaze on the Day of Resurrection.
Therefore, these bodies, Allah knows best who among them has the intention for the face of Allah the Exalted. And therefore, they do not bear fruit because they are not pure for the face of their Lord, Blessed and Exalted is He. But we are on the verge of despair of reminding these people and preaching to them, because they were raised on this and grew up on this, so there is no benefit left in reminding them. Because the matter requires raising the Muslim youth from the softness of their nails that their entire work is for Allah the Exalted, whether it is knowledge, or jihad, or spending, or any of the matters that concern the Muslim community. So we ask Allah the Exalted to guide our ummah to return to the rulings of their religion in jurisprudence and practice
(2) O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do? (3) Great is hatred in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do.
[As-Saf 61:2-3]
And Allah is the One to be sought for help. Yes.
