Who organizes the purification and education?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The alternative, as we understand it, O our Shaykh, from the parliament is knowledge and action, purification and education. Now, there is a question being asked: where is the organization in this matter? People work here and work there, as they say, and they throw this noise around, saying this one works alone and that one works alone. So where is the collective work that we call work and knowledge?

The Shaykh : This, my brother, this noise will never end. The reason that many of the masses of people today, and especially some of the weak preachers among them, keep repeating is ignorance of Islam. We know in the Noble Qur'an
There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
[Al-Ahzab 33:21]
that the good example is the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). As we mentioned earlier, this is achieved through knowledge and action. Look at what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did in terms of organization to establish the Muslim state. What did he do? Was there organization in the sense known today? I say there was organization, and it was necessary, but there was no organization as they claim today. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to hold circles of knowledge to teach his companions knowledge so that they would act upon it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was keen to teach the women as well, so he set aside a day for them to take turns, and he would address them with admonition and knowledge. It is reported in Sahih al-Bukhari that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was teaching his companions in a circle when three men entered. One of them came forward and sat in a place where he found space. The second was shy and sat in the back. The third turned away. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said, encouraging sitting to seek knowledge, whether by coming forward or by sitting in the last rows:
As for the first, he came forward, so Allah turned toward him. As for the second, he was shy, so Allah was shy of him. As for the other, he turned away, so Allah turned away from him. أما الأول فأقبل فأقبل الله عليه ، وأما الثاني فاستحى فاستحى الله منه ، وأما الآخر فأعرض فأعرض الله عنه
. These are the circles upon which the scholars of the Muslims proceeded throughout these long centuries, so that the Muslims would learn their knowledge and thereby be guided by their Lord. Now, you hardly find a single one of these knowledge circles being held in one of the houses of Allah, these houses in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) invited people in many hadiths to sit, to gather in circles, to study the Book of Allah, to recite the Book of Allah, and to discuss it among themselves. These houses have become empty, their roofs standing. What have they turned into? Associations, factions, and parties, in which Allah is not mentioned except a little, and the correct knowledge is not studied at all. I say, Allah is not mentioned in them except a little.
As for knowledge, the knowledge is not studied in them at all; because knowledge is, as Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“Knowledge: Allah said, His Messenger said, / The Companions said; it is not deception.
What is knowledge? It is you setting yourself up for foolishness *** Between the Messenger and the opinion of a jurist
No, nor is it denying the attributes and negating them *** Out of fear of likening and comparing
I was informed recently that a preacher from these factions and parties, who are not following the guidance of the Messenger of Allah, stood as a preacher in one of the mosques to respond to one who holds fast to the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), not realizing that he is responding to the Messenger of Allah, whose name they shout in many occasions. He stood to say: "Fast on Saturday, fast on Saturday," but look at the reasoning. He said: "To get out of the disagreement."

The questioner : O our Shaykh, something more astonishing came out at a banquet, where a Shaykh stood up and I was informedThe Shaykh : onAl-Halabi : that he said: "Fast on Saturday," and I know that there is a prohibition, and he is an imam.

The Shaykh : I seek refuge in Allah. By Allah, it is one of the major sins.

The questioner : By Allah, it is so.

The Shaykh : I seek refuge in Allah, my brother. As long as there are such special people among the Muslims, how can these people ask for the alternative?
if you support Allah, He will support you إِنْ تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ
[Muhammad 47:7]
A single verse in the Qur'an, concise, gathered and comprehensive:
if you support Allah, He will support you إِنْ تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ
[Muhammad 47:7]
. The alternative is: support Allah, and He will support you. The matter is finished. So this is the alternative: changing rulings and affiliations, in gatherings where the name of Allah is not mentioned, but rather the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) are fought against, and even the schools of the Muslims.
