Clarification of the prohibition of the follower hurrying to catch up with the imam in the rak'ah.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : But just as we tell the imam: "Wait a moment so that the one who enters can catch up with the bowing," we also tell the one who enters: "Do not hurry." Some people, when they enter and the imam is bowing, stand up and clear their throats, or say, "Be patient, for Allah is with the patient," or they kick with their feet. All of this is not permissible. Walk calmly, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If you hear the Iqamah, you must walk to the prayer (place) with tranquility and dignity, and do not hasten; and whatever portion of the prayer you get (along with the Imam) offer it, and complete afterwards whatever you missed.
Bulugh al-Maram 2:329
This is a dispensation from Allah. Abu Bakrah entered with a taa, not Abu Bakr. Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) entered while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was bowing, so he hurried and bowed before reaching the row, and he entered the row. He hurried and bowed before reaching the row in order to catch up with the bowing, because if he catches up with the bowing, he catches up with the rak'ah. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, he asked, "Who did this?" Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I did, O Messenger of Allah." He said:
May Allah increase your eagerness! But do not do it again.
Sunan Abi Dawud 683Sahih (Al-Albani)
Look at the goodness of the teaching from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
May Allah increase your eagerness! But do not do it again.
Sunan Abi Dawud 683Sahih (Al-Albani)
This man hurried and went against the prescribed manner by hurrying and bowing before reaching the row, and yet the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him what?
May Allah increase your eagerness
Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) knew that he only hurried out of eagerness for good; that was his intention. So he said:
May Allah increase your eagerness
But if we heard someone do this thing and he said, "I did it," what would we say? Hmm, the brother is gesturing with his hand, meaning we would hit him. No, if we did not hit him, it is not necessary. In any case, if we reflect on the state of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and his calling to the truth, it becomes clear to us the ease of the call.
