The Ruling on the Follower Hurrying to Catch the Bowing

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Sometimes the follower arrives at the mosque while the imam is in the last rak'ah, so the follower hurries to catch this rak'ah in order to have caught the congregation, as mentioned in the hadith:
Whoever catches a raka of the prayer has caught the prayer.
Muwatta Malik 1:15
But some imams—may Allah pardon us and them—rise from the bowing quickly, even though they hear the followers arriving and trying to catch the bowing. Is there any advice for these imams to be deliberate, especially in the bowing of the last rak'ah, to allow the followers the opportunity to catch the virtue of the congregation?
When does the follower catch the rak'ah? Is it before the imam says: "Allah hears the one who praises Him"? Or does he catch it even if he bows while the imam is saying it? I ask you, Your Eminence, to elaborate on this topic due to its importance. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
What is prescribed for the one who comes to the prayer is that he should be calm and composed, and not rush, even if he fears missing the rak'ah; because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When you come to the prayer, walk calmly and composedly. Whatever you catch, pray with it, and whatever you miss, complete it.
And what is prescribed for the imams, may Allah guide them, when they hear the voice of the one entering while they are in the bowing, is that they should not rush, so that the entering one who is bowing can catch the rak'ah.
And when he says the takbir with the imam and stands upright in the bowing before the imam rises, he has caught the rak'ah, even if he does not say the tasbih until after the imam has risen; due to the generality of his statement (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever catches a raka of the prayer has caught the prayer.
Muwatta Malik 1:15
, and in another wording:
Whoever catches the bowing has caught the rak'ah
, and due to the hadith of Abu Bakrah al-Thaqafi, who came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was bowing, so he bowed before reaching the row, then entered the row and mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) after the prayer, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him:
May Allah increase your eagerness! But do not do it again.
Sunan Abi Dawud 683Sahih (Al-Albani)
It was narrated by al-Bukhari in his Sahih, and he did not order him to make up the rak'ah, which indicates its validity and sufficiency. However, the mentioned hadith indicates that what is prescribed for the one entering is not to rush into the bowing until he enters the row, due to the statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
May Allah increase your eagerness! But do not do it again.
Sunan Abi Dawud 683Sahih (Al-Albani)
And success is from Allah.
