The Difference in Deeds According to the Doer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : They also differ according to the doer. Deeds differ according to the doer, meaning that a deed may be the same, but it is from a person who is higher in status than another person. The evidence for this is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought لا يستوي منكم من أنفق من قبل الفتح وقاتل
[Al-Hadid 57:10]
The intended meaning of "the opening" here is the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, because in Islam there are two openings: the opening of Hudaybiyyah, which is the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, and the opening of Makkah. Now,
Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought لا يستوي منكم من أنفق من قبل الفتح وقاتل أولئك أعظم درجة من الذين أنفقوا من بعد وقاتلوا
[Al-Hadid 57:10]

And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, addressing Khalid ibn al-Walid, when a dispute occurred between him and 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Khalid:
Do not revile my Companions; by him in whose hand my soul is, if one of you contributed the amount of gold equivalent to Uhud, it would not amount to as much as the mudd of one of them, or half of it. لا تسبوا أصحابي فو الذي نفسي بيده لو أنفق أحدكم مثل أحد ذهبا ما بلغ مد أحدهم ولا نصيفه
Sunan Abi Dawud 4658Sahih (Al-Albani)
The difference here is according to what?
The student: The doer

The Shaykh : According to the doer.
