An important principle: The Shari'ah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is suitable for all times and places.

The Shaykh : Therefore, the Shari'ah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is suitable for all times and places, from the time of his mission until the Hour. If this were not the case, people would have needed a Messenger after Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). But because he is the Seal of the Prophets, his Shari'ah is suitable for all times and places. We must pay attention to this statement that the Shari'ah is suitable for all times and places, because some people have interpreted it in a way other than its correct meaning. They thought that its meaning is that this Shari'ah is subject to every time and place, meaning that it adapts to the era and to the differences among people. So if people's circumstances change, the Shari'ah must change accordingly to match the change in people's circumstances.
