Is the dhikr of takbir, tahlil, tahmid, and sending blessings upon the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) valid without wudu, until the tongue becomes moist from the remembrance of Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is the dhikr of takbir, tahlil, tahmid, and sending blessings upon the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) valid without wudu, until the tongue becomes moist from the remembrance of Allah?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment. Yes, it is permissible for a person to remember Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) while in a state of ritual impurity, because it is established in "al-Bukhari and Muslim" in the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to remember Allah in all his states." It is not a condition for dhikr that a person be in a state of ritual purity, but it is better not to remember Allah except while in a state of ritual purity. That is, it is better for a person to purify himself when he intends to remember Allah, but this is not obligatory. Even if a person is in a state of major ritual impurity, he may remember Allah, except for the Qur'an, for he may not recite the Qur'an while in a state of major ritual impurity until he performs the full ritual bath. This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach his Companions the Qur'an as long as he was not in a state of major ritual impurity, or as long as they were not in a state of major ritual impurity.

The questioner : May Allah bless you. The Sudanese listener says.
