Fatawa of the Makkah Haram-1412-01a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In this month, it is prescribed to be generous, kind, and excellent. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan كان أجود الناس وكان أجود ما يكون في رمضان
Sahih al-Bukhari 6
Be generous with your wealth, whether as charity or zakah. Be generous with your body by helping your brothers. Be generous with your status by interceding for those who deserve intercession. Be generous even with a pleasant face. Be generous with whatever you are able to do. For Allah is Generous and loves generosity. And Allah, Mighty and Majestic, treats His servant as he treats his brothers. Allah is Forgiving and loves forgiveness. And He, Glorified and Exalted is He, is in need of His servant as a person is in need of his brother, and He is in aid of His servant as a servant is in aid of his brother.
