Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And indeed, messengers before you were denied, but they were patient regarding what they were denied and what they were afflicted with, until Our help came to them. And there is no changer of the words of Allah."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then He comforted him a second time, saying:
And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, and they were harmed ولقد كذبت رسل من قبلك فصبروا على ما كذبوا وأوذوا
[Al-An'am 6:34]
Also, along with the denial, there was affliction
until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words of Allah حتى آتاهم نصرنا ولا مبدل لكلمات الله
[Al-An'am 6:34]
This is a comfort for the Messenger, meaning you are not the first to be denied, and you are not the first to be afflicted. But be patient until victory comes to you. So he was patient, and he was victorious and triumphant, and praise be to Allah.
