Q 6: Is it permissible to lie to the Arab Christians?
A 6 : The principle is that Allah has forbidden lying to Muslims, obligated them to be truthful, and made truthfulness one of the signs of Islam. Therefore, it is not permissible for a Muslim to lie to a Muslim or to a disbeliever. Allah the Exalted said:[At-Tawbah 9:119] , and in the hadith agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim, from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَAdhere to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And a man will keep telling the truth and seeking truthfulness until he is recorded by Allah as one who is truthful. And beware of lying, for lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. And a man will keep lying and seeking lies until he is recorded by Allah as a liar.
عليكم بالصدق فإن الصدق يهدي إلى البر، وإن البر يهدي إلى الجنة، وإن الرجل ليصدق ويتحرى الصدق حتى يكتب عند الله صديقًا، وإياكم والكذب، فإن الكذب يهدي إلى الفجور، وإن الفجور يهدي إلى النار، ولا يزال الرجل يكذب ويتحرى الكذب حتى يكتب عند الله كذابًا
