The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: "For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He said:
For you is your religion, and for me is my religion." لكم دينكم ولي دين
[Al-Kafirun 109:6]
And it is necessary that the religion of the Muslims be distinguished from the religion of the disbelievers. For this reason, the prohibition against imitating them came, even in clothing. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He who copies any people is one of them. من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم
Sunan Abi Dawud 4031Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani)
Because imitating them in outward appearance leads to imitating them in inward matters, creed, and action.
