The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: "The Possessor of the Remembrance"

The Shaykh : And His saying, the Exalted: "Dhi" means the possessor, that is, the possessor of the remembrance. The intended meaning of "remembrance" is admonition, meaning that the Qur'an reminds people and admonishes them. It has another meaning, which is praise and elevation, as He, the Exalted, said: So whoever takes hold of this Qur'an, he will attain good remembrance and good praise, and Allah the Exalted will raise him in degrees by it.
