The meaning of the poet's statement: "Could a mustard seed be equal to a great mountain in its *** parts in any of the minds, since the parts of each of them *** do not end by counting"

The Shaykh : But among the proofs of their invalidity is what he mentioned in his statement:
"Could a mustard seed be equal to a great mountain in its *** parts in any of the minds"
"Since the parts of each of them *** do not end by counting and calculation"
Is this possible or not? No, it is not possible. It is possible according to them, because they say that the mustard seed, which is a very small grain, is divided into parts, and it must be divided, it must be divided. And if it is divided into parts that have no end, it follows that it must be equal to the great, towering mountain. This is something that is not possible, neither in the Shari'ah, nor in sense perception, nor in reason, that the mustard seed should be like the great mountain, based on the fact that there is nothing that is not capable of division, so this would be equal to that. Because even if you said, divide the mountain into a thousand and divide the mustard seed into a thousand, one part of the thousand of the mountain is more than the mustard seed. Divide that also into a thousand, then divide each of them into a thousand, and the end is that it does not... just as the mustard seed is also. And Allah knows best.
