The Shaykh :"And Allah is the Doer of our actions, whether obedience *** or open sinfulness and all other disobedience"
"They are truly the action of the Lord of the Worlds *** and not the action of man in any way"
"So the servant is dead, and he is compelled *** in his actions, like the dead in their shrouds"
Glory be to Allah, I am amazed at how a person can stand firm on this statement, making our actions like the movements of whom? The dead. This is something that reason and sense reject. But[Ali 'Imran 3:8] he said:
"And he is blamed for the actions of his God ***"
Allah acts, and the servant is blamed, because in their view, the action of man is truly the action of Allah. There is no doubt that if you reflect on it, you will find it a branch of the statement of the people of the Unity of Existence. Those who hold to the Unity of Existence say that man is Allah, and his action is the action of Allah. These people do not say that, but they say that the action of the servant is the action of Allah.
"And he is blamed for the actions of his God *** within him, and he is inside the searing Fire"
Strange: the action is the action of another, and the one being punished is he. Yes.

Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate
