Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (He is the Doer of what He wills)]
Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Buruj:16] Whatever He wills, He does, Mighty and Majestic; for He is complete in authority, and no one can oppose Him,and there is no one who can turn back His decree, nor any one who can repel His judgment: [Al-Ra'd:11] .
So whatever He wills, He does; but the kings of this world, however great their dominion, do not do everything they will. How often they will something, only to find an obstacle that prevents their will! But the Lord is the possessor of the greatest authority, who is such that nothing can repel what He wills: [Al-Buruj:16] And in this is evidence that everything that occurs in the universe is by the will of Allah, Mighty and Majestic; for Allah is the One who created it, so it occurs by His will. But know that Allah does not will anything except for a wisdom. So whatever occurs of the actions of Allah, it is for a great wisdom, which we may know or we may not know.
And we stop at this noble verse.
And we ask Allah the Exalted to make us and you among those who recite His Book with true recitation, and to grant us understanding of it, and to help us to act upon it. Indeed, He is Generous and Bountiful.
Allah the Exalted said:
an effecter of what He intends.
فَعَّالٌ لِمَا يُرِيدُAnd when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.
وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوءاً فَلا مَرَدَّ لَهُ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ وَالٍSo whatever He wills, He does; but the kings of this world, however great their dominion, do not do everything they will. How often they will something, only to find an obstacle that prevents their will! But the Lord is the possessor of the greatest authority, who is such that nothing can repel what He wills:
