(Declaring the Mu'tazilah disbelievers for their denial of the attributes of the people of the Sunnah, because they affirm the attributes, and in their view the one who affirms them is one who ascribes a body to Allah, and the refutation of them) We said, yes, this one who ascribes a body to Allah is a disbeliever*** Was that complete in faith?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"We said, yes, this one who ascribes a body to Allah is a disbeliever*** Was that complete in faith?"
Meaning that we are answering on your behalf, so we say: Yes, you were at war with the one who affirms the attributes, because in your claim he is one who ascribes a body to Allah, and he is a disbeliever because he is one who ascribes a body to Allah. So they say that every one who affirms the attributes is one who ascribes a body to Allah, and every one who ascribes a body to Allah is a disbeliever, so the one who affirms the attributes is a disbeliever, so the one who affirms the attributes is a disbeliever. But all these premises and the conclusion are all lies. Not every one who affirms the attributes is one who ascribes a body to Allah, because affirming the attributes does not logically necessitate ascribing a body to Allah. Yes, so here we say: here we say: a day of intense heat, intense cold, intense darkness, and all these are bodies or not bodies? Not bodies, these are times and periods. Then we say: regarding the Creator (Mighty and Majestic), if we describe Him with the attributes, and if it follows from these attributes that He must be a body, then what follows from the truth is truth. And if it does not follow, then it is not permissible for you to impose on us something that He did not commit to and that is not necessary for His attributes. Then we say:
Thirdly: The body that you denied for Allah and brought against Him with horses and men, what do you intend by it? Do you intend by it a composite body, as created bodies are composed? So what is this? It is negated from Allah. Or do you intend by it a self that is separate from creation, distinct from creation, possessing the attributes befitting it? Then this is truth, for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is a self, without doubt, subsisting in itself, distinct from creation, possessing the perfect attributes, the attributes befitting Him.
And with this, look at how this deception and obfuscation works. Every one who affirms, what? One who ascribes a body to Allah. And every one who ascribes a body to Allah is a disbeliever. How is this? Who said this rule? Okay.
"The flames of your anger do not extinguish upon*** this one who ascribes a body to Allah, O you who possess the flames"
Yes, you are always in great anger and intense resentment toward this one who ascribes a body to Allah. And for this reason, when someone affirms of the attributes of Allah what Allah has affirmed for Himself, the flames of anger and hatred flare up in them toward this one who affirms, whom they claim is one who ascribes a body to Allah.
"So Allah kindles them and He burns with their heat*** On the Day of Reckoning, the one who distorts the Qur'an"
And who is the one who distorts the Qur'an? They are the people of denial of the attributes. The people of denial of the attributes, by Allah, distorted the Qur'an. Allah affirmed for Himself the attribute, and they said, no, no, we do not affirm it.
They distorted the Qur'an from its places and said, the meaning of such and such is such and such, which is not what Allah intended. So who is more deserving of burning in the Fire? They are the people of distortion, the people of distortion. Yes, and for this reason he said:
"So Allah kindles them and He burns with their heat*** On the Day of Reckoning, the one who distorts the Qur'an".
