Reading from the poet's words: "And if you wish to see the fates of those who passed away..." to his words: "...there is no second in existence like him"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He says:
"And if you wish to see the fates of those who passed away *** from the nation of ta'til (denial of the divine attributes) and disbelief
And you see them as captives, their status lowly, *** their hands bound to their necks
And you see them beneath the spears, a defenseless group, *** none among them a piercing horseman
And you see them beneath the swords, which strike them *** from their left sides and from their right
And you see them having stripped themselves of the two revelations and sound *** reason and the requirement of the Qur'an
And you see them, by Allah, a laughingstock for the mocker, *** and they have often mocked faith
Their regions have become desolate because of them, and the Mighty One *** has increased their desolation throughout the ages
And their homes have become empty"
until he said, may Allah have mercy on him... Yes, we read
"And you see them, by Allah, a laughingstock for the mocker, *** and they have often mocked faith
Their regions have become desolate because of them, and the Mighty One *** has increased their desolation throughout the ages
And their homes have become empty and their community scattered, *** there are not two men among them who are united
The Most Merciful has rendered their hearts void *** of all knowledge and of all faith
For they have rendered the Most Merciful void of His attributes, *** and they have emptied the Throne of the Most Merciful
Nay, they have rendered Him void of speech and of the *** perfection of His attributes through ignorance and slander
So read the writings of the Imam in truth, *** the Shaykh of existence, the knowing, the divine scholar
I mean Abu al-Abbas Ahmad, that *** vast ocean encompassing all the bays
And read the book of Reason and Revelation, which *** has no second in existence"
to the end...
The author, may Allah have mercy on him, explained in this chapter what the people of the Sunnah and affirmation used to write and compose in books that expose the arguments of these people of ta'til (denial of the divine attributes). And we will begin the explanation, if Allah wills, in the next lesson.
